Crisis Communications with Armando Trull

2019-03-08T13:10:50-05:00March 10th, 2019|Events, Training Opportunities|

Every nonprofit needs a plan for a worst-case scenario. If the roof collapses, the CFO empties the bank account, or someone is injured while in your care, you need to be prepared with a plan. Nonprofits count on public trust and goodwill, both of which can be damaged by a poorly managed crisis.

This workshop will teach you what you need to know to develop a crisis communications plan, including:

  • understanding the news cycle
  • the role of social media
  • who speaks for the organization
  • preparing key messages and talking points
  • ongoing communication with important audiences
  • salvaging your reputation
