Nonprofit Office Space Available: Rockville and Kensington

Starting October 1, The Nonprofit Village will have 8 cubicles and 1 office available for rent. Apply by October 1 and receive the first month’s rent for free. Contact Lisette for more information. All tenants receive free membership for one year with Nonprofit Montgomery.

Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church has two potential office rooms for rent to a nonprofit. One room 450 SF for $135 per week; one room 580 SF for $175 per week. Call the church office to arrange a tour (301) 949-2900.

Collaboration Prize Grant, Due November 16

The Collaboration Prize identifies and showcases models of permanent collaboration between two or more nonprofit organizations. Mandatory Sick Leave Effective October 1, 2016

Beginning October 1, 2016 all employers must adhere to The Montgomery County Earned Sick and Safe Leave Law-Montgomery County Code Chapter 27 Human Rights and Civil Liberties Sections 27-7 and 27.8. An employee must accrue paid leave before accruing unpaid leave in a calendar year. Earned paid sick and safe leave must accrue at a rate of at least 1 hour for every 30 hours an employee works in the County.
