From July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 (FY17) – The Healthcare Initiative Foundation (HIF) awarded $1,481,703 in grants. This comprised of $225,000 in Strategic Sustainability Grants (SSG), $445,000 in Capacity Building Grants (CB), $89,641 in Emerging Needs Grants, $543,889 in Multi-Year Grants, and $178,173 in Small Grants to support organizations in Montgomery County working to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and sustainable healthcare.
HIF’s grants supported (3) three priorities: to build appropriate capacity in the Healthcare Network; to improve the quality and delivery of comprehensive healthcare; and grow a highly skilled, culturally competent healthcare workforce.
