The Center for Nonprofit Advancement and the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center have designed a one-day course for new board members that will give them an overview of what their role is in the governance of a nonprofit organization. This course includes panel and group discussions and Q&A with experts.

Table for Ten will focus on the role and strategies of leaders who must balance the needs of their Board, staff, patients and partners while working to improve the health of their communities. The discussion will be facilitated by Sharon Zalewski, Executive Director of the Regional Primary Care Coalition.
Tables for Ten meet three times for candid, confidential facilitated conversations and problem solving. This Table for Ten will meet on Tuesdays this fall: September 27, October 25, November 29 from 9-10:30am. Participants are asked to commit to all three meetings.
