Thank you to all who responded to our recent member survey. Your feedback on Nonprofit Montgomery’s programs and services is critical to our direction for the future. We’ll be sharing some of the results of the survey in Nonprofit Matters, so stay tuned. If you were unable to take the survey, we are always eager to hear our members’ feedback, so please email us at connect@nonprofitmoco.org.
We are so excited to offer our pilot program MORE (Metrics, Outcomes and Responsible Evaluation) Training this year. We have worked closely with our advisory board of representatives of Montgomery County government, nonprofits, and philanthropy to create a meaningful and impactful program with a local focus that our sector was missing. Our fall pilot session filled quickly, but we are offering this program again in the spring—registration will open in January for our April 28-29 program.
Finally, thank you to all our new and renewed members for making our work to strengthen the nonprofit sector possible. The collective work of nonprofits is vital to the health of our community. If you haven’t renewed yet, there’s still time. Join us and work together to address common problems with your peers, develop your own leadership skills and ensure your organization has a voice at the table.
With thanks,
Brigid Howe
Executive Director
