Montgomery County Procurement Forum

JCADA 5K Event: A Run, A Walk, AWARE – October 22

The Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse’s 5K Event: A Run, A Walk, AWARE is on October 22  at the Berman Hebrew Academy in Rockville. Proceeds from the JCADA 5K Event support the critical, life-saving services JCADA provides for the community. The event will feature family-friendly activities that promote healthy relationships and discussions about empowerment and confidence inspired by AWARE®, JCADA’s dating abuse prevention initiative.

16th Annual County Executive’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts & Humanities

The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County and County Executive Ike Leggett will present this year’s County Executive’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities on Monday, November 6, 7 pm at Round House Theatre. The County Executive’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities honor individuals and organizations that have made a difference in Montgomery County through the arts and humanities.

Debate & Reception – Democratic Candidates for County Executive

The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce is hosting a debate for the Democratic candidates for County Executive. It will be moderated by Steve Hull, editor of Bethesda Magazine and Bethesda Beat, and Andrew Metcalf, who covers county government for Bethesda Beat.
