MAFRAC Local Food Grant Application – Version 2.0 (h/t MoCo Food Council)
MAFRAC is offering funding to help local businesses and nonprofits source from local farmers and food businesses to alleviate the strain which the COVID-19 pandemic has on our food system. Applications for the next grant cycle are due by July 31, 2022.
FY23 Emerging Business District Grant Program
The purpose of the Emerging Business District Grant Program is to subsidize operations necessary to establish a non-profit commercial district management entity to conduct place making, place management, branding, and economic development activities in a neighborhood. The program must lead to the establishment of a Business Improvement District or an Urban District Corporation within Montgomery County.
WorkSource Montgomery: Grant Relief for Onboarding Workers (GROW)
GROW COVID-19 financial assistance is intended for business entities, both for-profit and not-for-profit, negatively impacted by the pandemic. WorkSource Montgomery will award grants in two tiers: one flat rate for part-time workers and one for full-time workers; meant to cover the cost of the first few weeks of onboarding training upon hiring.
